Don’t forget to book an eye test

Along with that comes packing the kids or grandkids off to school every day, getting our winter wardrobes back out and so many other life-admin tasks. It can be overwhelming and never ending, but I’m here to ask readers not to neglect one other important thing this autumn - their eye health.

Did you know, that while one in five of us will experience sight loss in our lifetime, 50 per cent of sight loss is avoidable? This depends on factors from looking after your eye health, to early detection of sight conditions and timely treatment.

Often this begins with a simple eye test.
