'Dancing got me through darkest times'

STRICTLY Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden has spoken about the importance of dancing and how it helped her through her "darkest" times during her treatment for cancer.

The 35-year-old, from Caerphilly, took part in a dance class, Dance to Health at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
The dance programme helps over-60s build strength, balance and confidence through structured dance which Amy can relate to after having to rebuild her strength during chemotherapy.
