Concrete firm named Wales' best business

CONCRETE Canvas, manufacturer of geosynthetic solutions for civil engineering applications, has been crowned the best business in Wales.

As well as taking the global business of the year category, the Pontyclun-based firm was also named the overall Wales business of the year at the Wales Business Awards 2025 from Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid.

Some 12 winners were crowned across 12 categories.

Concrete Canvas exports 90% of its products worldwide and demonstrated to judges ambitious growth plans to expand into new markets and further develop its innovative product range.

Peter Brewin, director at Concrete Canvas, said: “We are truly honoured and thrilled to have been recognised at the Wales Business Awards.
