Boiling water used in prison attack

A PRISONER threw boiling water on to a fellow inmate due to “bad feeling” between the pair.

The victim, who felt excruciating pain and feared he had lost the site in his left eye, was left scarred.
Michael Dawes, 33, admitted causing grievous bodily harm to Anthony Dixon at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham on June 17,
He was jailed at Mold Crown Court this week for 20 months.
The court heard Dixon had left his cell at 8.30am to empty his small bin into a larger bin in a communal area.
