Beach car parking ban to stay

THERE are no plans to reconsider the decision to ban cars from a north Pembrokeshire beach over the coming year.

Newport Sands/Traeth Mawr went car-free in May 2023 when Pembrokeshire Coast National Park purchased the land and stopped vehicle access due to safety worries.
The authority declared the beach a car-free area, with exemptions for emergency services, RNLI and coastguard.
