Clarkson bans all Labour MPs from his Cotswold pub
Western Daily Press
|December 15, 2025
JEREMY Clarkson has joined a growing list of landlords who have barred all Labour MPs from their pubs.
His Cotswolds establishment The Farmer's Dog will refuse entry to any of Labour's 404 MPs as part of a national campaign protesting policies affecting the trade.
The movement is called 'No Labour MPs' and has reportedly attracted support from over 250 pubs, restaurants and hotels, originating in Dorset and rapidly expanding across the country to raise awareness of rising taxes and the impact on publicans.
James Fowler, proprietor of the Larder House pub in Bournemouth, was first to announce the ban and argued that pubs were being stretched to breaking point.
Now Clarkson, 65, has also implemented a blanket ban at his £1 million establishment near Burford in Asthall Barrow, Oxfordshire.
Clarkson had previously prohibited Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer from entering when the venue launched last year, but he maintains the recent tax increases have forced him to broaden the restriction, reports the Express.
