Clarke keen to put one over on old pal Sadler
Western Daily Press
|October 04, 2025
DARRELL Clarke has shed light on his history with Walsall manager Mat Sadler ahead of Bristol Rovers’ away clash with the Saddlers today.
Rovers go into the game on a run of eight matches unbeaten after defeating an inform Salford City in dramatic fashion last time out.
Their run of tough fixtures keeps on going this weekend as they take on a Walsall side who sit at the peak of the League Two table, with the hosts achieving 22 points from a possible 30 so far this season.
For the main men in the respective dugouts, it will be a reunion, with Sadler formerly working under Clarke during their time in the Black Country together.
