'I want to give my children memories this Christmas'

A YOUNG mother of two is hoping to raise enough funds to treat her children at Christmas and take them on one last trip to Devon.

Teresa Nicodemi, 33, from Wells has two young daughters and she wants them to have happy memories of her when she passes.

Teresa was given 12 months to live last June after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer having gone to the doctor with back pain.

It is heartbreaking for her to leave her daughters Sofia, nine, and Alessa, five, especially at Christmas.

‘And on top of everything else money is very tight.

Teresa said: “I want this Christmas to be really special for my girls.

“I would like to buy a real Christmas tree, I have never had a real Christmas tree, and I would like to buy them some special treats so they will remember a lovely Christmas with me.”

Teresa would like to take the children to Crealy theme park and resort in Devon one last time, the family have been there before and have happy memories.
