Clear out the chaos

ALL of us will experience periods of work stress at some point in our careers. While the degree may vary depending on the demands of your job at any given time, stress is an almost inevitable fact of the modern workplace.
Although it comes with a whole host of unwelcome side effects, it is possible to manage stress — and even make it work in your favour.
Here are a few tips to help you take control and ensure that daily pressures are not scuppering your productivity and well-being.
Keep a stress ball
Squeezing a palm-sized stress ball is a good way of relieving stress at your workstation. When you stress, your body tenses up and your muscles tighten. A stress ball prompts you to squeeze and release, which allows your body to use up excess stress energy and release built-up tension.
Keep your stress ball in front of you, just below your desktop so that you have easy access when you need it.
