Sri Lanka - India Media Friendship Association Official Website Launched

Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha inaugurated the official website of the Sri Lanka - India Media Friendship Association, https://slimfa.lk/.
The general meeting of the Sri Lanka India Media Friendship Association was held on Monday (14) at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India in Colombo.During this general meeting, new members were inducted, and methods to strengthen media cooperation between India and Sri Lanka were discussed. Additionally, the official website was launched.
Roshni Thompson, First Secretary of the Media, Communication & Culture Division of the Indian High Commission, attended the general meeting. The association's President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Committee members also participated, delivering welcome and vote of thanks speeches. The Sri Lanka - India Media Friendship Association was established on May 29, 2024. The association was formed with the aim of strengthening media-related relations between the two countries. Since its inception, various events, particularly panel discussions and round table discussions, have been organized with a focus on media-related matters.
