FEMA’s Acting Chief Resigns

David Richardson, the acting head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, resigned Monday after about seven months in the role.
Karen Evans, FEMA chief of staff, will succeed Richardson starting Dec. 1, according to a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson, who didn’t provide a reason for Richardson's resignation.
