'Nazi salute' ex-aide Bannon leads call

Deputy Political Editor in Washington, DC and JACK HOBBS DONALD Trump's allies are demanding he should be allowed to run for a third term in office.

Fans called for the huge constitutional change at a right-wing conference in Washington.

They included ex-aide turned radio host Steve Bannon who declared on stage: "We want Trump '28".

He added: "A man like Trump comes along only once or twice in the country's history." Stickers and badges with "Trump "28" were distributed.

Bannon ended his speech with an apparent Nazi salute - which he claimed was a "wave to the crowd".
