DISAPPOINTED Donald Trump supporters say blaming cold weather for the decision to hold his inauguration ceremony inside is a lot of hot air.

They claim the forecast temperature of -12C is "quite normal" for this time of year and believe tomorrow's event has instead been moved because there has been another threat on the president-elect's life.

Tens of thousands of Republicans have descended on Washington DC to see their hero be sworn in.

But the decision to relocate indoors means only a few hundred people will be able to witness Mr Trump become President again.

Around 220,000 ticketholders were expected at the outdoor event, with another 400,000 expected in the surrounding streets.

It comes as several thousand protesters - mostly women - gathered in the US capital yesterday to take part in the People's March and hit out at the inauguration.
