SECOND COMING: Price doubles West Brom’s lead
-
MIKEY JOHNSTON'S fine first-half goal and a second-half Isaac Price strike moved West Brom back into the Championship's top six as they beat Preston at The Hawthorns.
Johnston scored from 25 yards before Price's fourth of the campaign saw off inform Preston.
Preston's consolation came as Michael Smith tapped home from Daniel Jebbison's 78th-minute cross.
Baggies boss Ryan Mason afterwards saluted Johnston, who was the subject of transfer interest in the summer.
“Mikey played a really good game," said Mason. “He was taking players out of the game and making things happen.
“His goal was outstanding. He's going to probably get five of them a season.
“He needs to score more ugly goals.
