Loved ones' heartache for boxer

RICKY Hatton's son has told how he hopes the world champion boxer's family will be able to start healing now he has been laid to rest.

Heartbroken Campbell Hatton, 24, helped to carry the coffin at his father's funeral days before an inquest this week heard Ricky, 46, was found hanged at his home.

Mourners at Manchester Cathedral included musicians, actors and sports stars, with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and football and cricket legends Wayne Rooney and Andrew Flintoff all in attendance.

Tens of thousands lined the streets to pay their respects and Ricky's ex-partner Jennifer Dooley was seen alongside his daughters, Millie, 13, and Fearne, 12.
