My dart stars with a target

Being an ambassador and volunteer for Prostate Cancer UK has opened up a new world to me over the years. There’s been a lot of hard work but also it’s been a labour of love. And this week I lucked out with an invitation to the Paddy Power World Darts draw, ahead of the championship at Ally Pally.

It was a great opportunity to share my story with people there and, as ever, I was saddened to hear how many had friends or relatives who have been touched by prostate cancer - one in eight men will be diagnosed.
