Cuts to vital funding are unkind, unfair & cruel, says actress Anna

MOTHERLAND star Anna Maxwell Martin is urging the government to reverse "cruel" cuts to a fund that helps adopted children.

The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund provides vital therapy for the youngsters and kinship kids - children cared for by relatives.

The government slashed the amount children are entitled to in April.

And now Anna is speaking out on behalf of a campaign calling for a U-turn. She told us: "I feel it rings as being so unkind and so unfair to cut this funding."

The Line of Duty star added: "If you invest early on in these children's lives, the outcomes are exponentially better.
