McKenna expecting to be back on Trac for promotion

IPSWICH boss Kieran McKenna does not feel today’s trip to Leicester will be much of a guide to how both sides will look in a Championship promotion push next season.

Town and the Foxes saw their hopes of Premier League survival short-lived, joining Southampton in a swift return to the second tier.

McKenna, though, is confident things will be very different when the two sides go head-to-head in the Championship.

“Whenever we play again, both teams are going to have new players. It will be in a completely different context,” said the Ipswich boss.
