JUSTIN ROSE believes he has an extra bullet in his gun when it comes to Major Championship golf these days - despite approaching the autumn of his career.
Rose, who turns 45 next month, is hot favourite to be named Europe's Ryder Cup captain for 2027 at Adare Manor.
But after being edged out by Rory McIlroy in a photo-finish at the Masters, he feels that he can once again be a contender at this week's US Open at Oakmont.
Rose won the championship in 2013 at Merion, becoming the first Englishman in 43 years to do so, but feels that he is a more complete player now.
