Love Island Georgia on healing heart

- SHELLEY SPADONI

I have never felt so safe or as strong

LOVE Island's Georgia Harrison has told how finding romance with someone who has no interest in showbiz is helping her to heal and learn to trust again.

Georgia, 30, says the ordeal of having a private sex video shared online by her ex, who was later jailed, almost broke her.

But the reality star-turned-activist is now dating City worker Jack Stacey, 32, and says: "I've never felt so safe."

Georgia, who first appeared on ITVBe show The Only Way is Essex, said: "I met Jack last July. He works in the City and has absolutely no connection to the showbiz world.

"He takes it all with a pinch of salt - he's not a bit interested in fame, but he supports me. It doesn't scare him."

Georgia returned to reality TV in January last year for the first season of Love Island All Stars, after appearing in 2017's third series.
