City need more than Pep talks

PEP GUARDIOLA insisted his Manchester City players are still hungry for success - despite seeing his deposed champions drop two priceless points at Premier League whipping boys Southampton.

City could not find a way through the massed ranks of a team that has already been relegated, despite the return of Erling Haaland after injury and missed out on the chance to draw level on points with second-placed Arsenal.

City are still well set to finish in the top five and qualify for the Champions League, but they look a shadow of the team that won four titles in a row.
