Nuno: Our Geordie lad Elliott has what it takes to be in Thomas Tuchel's first Lions squad
NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO thinks Elliott Anderson's name should be in the conversation when Thomas Tuchel names his first England squad.
Nottingham Forest boss Nuno (below) says the versatile midfielder has what it takes to step onto the international stage.
Anderson (right) was a surprise departure from St James' Park last summer as the Magpies tried to organise their finances.
And he has found a welcome home at the City Ground where, after a sluggish start, he has proved himself to be a vital cog as Nuno's unfancied east Midlands outfit have surged into the Champions League placings.
Asked whether the 22-year-old was ready for the Three Lions next month, the Forest boss said: "I think he has enough talent to be regarded - the rest is up to Thomas and I won't comment on that.
