Amorim anniversary draws to close as Diallo saves point

RUBEN AMORIM believes Manchester United's late leveller at Nottingham Forest shows there has been a mentality shift.

The United boss admitted his side may have buckled last season after Forest went 2-1 ahead and would have lost the game.

He said: “Yeah, and by more goals (if they had have lost). The confidence is completely different now. We came from three good games and we understand each other better.

“We have bad moments, but suddenly we have three good games and moments, you sense we are in control.

“In the second half, we disconnect for five minutes and that's enough in the Premier League, but we managed to recover.

“We need to regain that feeling of a big team when it does matter.”

But furious Forest boss Sean Dyche slammed referee Darren England and his assistants for awarding United a corner in the buildup to Casemiro's goal.

“They give corners that aren't corners. It's a really poor decision.”

United arrived at the City Ground on a run of three wins and Diallo's late volley kept their unbeaten record, securing a draw as Sean Dyche's Forest were denied a comeback win.
