500 LIVES AT RISK AFTER BUM JABS

NEARLY 500 Brits over two years came close death after having liquid Brazilian butt lifts, according to an official cosmetics watchdog.Government-backed Save Face found 947 people suffered severe infections, sepsis and abscesses. Almost all were admitted to hospital, 43% needed surgery and half fought for their lives.

The data, from two years to January, comes a fortnight after self-styled Lip King Jordan Parke, 34, was found dead in a London hotel after allegedly having a botched BBL.

A man aged 43 and a woman of 52 were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

Parke, of Dudley, West Mids, was bailed over the death of mum-of-five Alice Webb, 33, after a 2024 BBL at a Gloucester clinic. He had not been charged with an offence.
