UPSRTC TO OFFER BUSES IN ALL DISTRICTS FOR MAHA KUMBH PILGRIMS

On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed authorities to ensure bus services operate from all districts of the state to facilitate pilgrimages to the sacred Sangam Nose during Maha Kumbh 2025.

The directive was issued during a key meeting with UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) officials to review preparations for the grand event.

The Chief Minister emphasised that bus services should be available throughout the Maha Kumbh, not just on major bathing days, to ensure smooth travel for devotees. He instructed that a detailed timetable for the bus services be widely publicized for the convenience of the public.

"No passenger should face any inconvenience during their journey," CM Yogi stated, while issuing strict instructions to prevent bus drivers and conductors from consuming intoxicants. Private bus operators were also directed to adhere to fixed fares and capacity limits to avoid overloading or exploitation of passengers.
