Multidisciplinary artist Mahesh Sharma’s ‘Design By Nature’ exhibition pays homage to nature’s beauty and inspiration, showcasing furniture and objet d’art at the national capital.
The first ever solo show by multidisciplinary artist and space designer Mahesh Sharma titled ‘Design By Nature’ recently opened at the Bikaner House, New Delhi. This exclusive showcase of furniture and objet d’art is Mahesh’s ode to Mother Nature that plays an integral part in shaping his design philosophy. It aims at bringing to life functional pieces that fit organically into the contemporary spaces of today.
Mahesh Sharma has collaborated with leading fashion houses and organizations worldwide. His portfolio includes working alongside esteemed Indian designers such as Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Anju Modi, and Suneet Varma, among others. Mahesh has over the years synthesized elements of the natural world to create objects that not only exude beauty but also enhance our daily lives.
In this interview, Mahesh Sharma talks about ‘Design By Nature’ and the inspiration behind it, the influence of Mother Nature on his work, and the fusion of design, art, and nature evident in his latest project.
