Oct 7 South Africa (Greyville) form analysis

RACE 1 (1,000M)

(5) BOMBARDIER BOY found market support on debut and finished a close-up second. With that run under his belt, one can expect further improvement.

(1) AUSTRIAN BEAUTY takes on males but has come well for her new stable. She should make another bold bid from the best draw.

(4) CAPRICIOUS MISS disappointed last time after an improved showing on the Poly where she finished second. She needs a repeat of that effort.

(6) SMART STAR starts for her new stable with first-time blinkers and is one to watch in the market.

RACE 2 (1,200M)

Debutante (8) OVATION STAR comes from a strong stable and does not have to be too good to win.

(3) KALI BWANA has shown some ability and should show in this line-up.

(9) DEE DAY pops up occasionally.

She is back to a sprint on the Poly and can feature.

(4) CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT is better than her last run and has a money chance.

(1) THE SCARLET CAT has shown little to date, but tries blinkers for the first time on her Poly debut and has a light weight.

RACE 3 (1,400M)

(3) XIPHOS has been much improved on the Poly and with firsttime blinkers. The step-up in trip should suit, and he has a strong chance in a weak maiden field.

(2) CAPTAIN FRANK has had two starts on the Poly and steps up in trip. On pedigree, he should enjoy the extra.
