SBS Transit launches wellness village at DTL Tampines MRT station

Passengers can now join fitness sessions and wellness programmes at the Downtown Line (DTL) Tampines MRT station midway through commuting to their workplaces or homes.

Public transport operator SBS Transit (SBST) unveiled a 15,000 sq ft wellness village there on Sept 28, to make wellness activities more accessible to commuters and residents.
This is the first in SBST’s series of thematic villages, which aims to transform transport nodes into community hubs.
Offering fitness classes, health talks and wellness workshops, the wellness village at DTL Tampines MRT station is equipped with full-length wall mirrors for members of the public to use during dance, pilates and yoga sessions.
