Households to pay higher gas and electricity tariffs from Oct to Dec

Households will pay more for electricity and gas from October to December due to higher energy costs.
Electricity tariffs for homes will increase by 0.08 cent per kilowatt-hour (kWh), while gas tariffs will increase by 0.07 cent per kWh, before goods and services tax (GST).
In a statement on Sept 30, grid operator SP Group said electricity tariffs for households will go up by 0.3 per cent from the previous quarter.
