Shringla highlights India’s global rise, trade gains

RajyaSabha MP Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Tuesday delivered awide-ranging andimpactful intervention during the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address, underlining India’s emergence as a confident global leader and the transformative economic opportunities opening up for the country.
Speaking with clarity and authority, Shringla described the historic India-US trade agreement as a landmark achievement that would create unprecedented opportunities for Indian exporters, small-scale industries, farmers and workers.
He noted that, together with the recently concluded India-EU partnership hailed internationally as the Mother of All Deals-India has secured access to high-value markets worth nearly USD 60 trillion.
