Siraj, Krishna Reach Career-Best Test Rankings After Oval Heroics

India pacers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna achieved their career-best positions in the ICC Test rankings after their spectacular performances led the side to a series-levelling thrilling six-run win against England in the fifth Test at The Oval.
Siraj, who was adjudged the Player-of-the-Match for his impressive match haul of 9/190 in the fifth Test, vaulted 12 places to grab the 15th spot in the latest rankings. Krishna, meanwhile, rose 25 places to attain a career-best 59th position after picking up eight wickets in the deciding Test.
Siraj and Krishna have also become only the second Indian pair to take four or more wickets each in both innings of a Test match, a feat earlier accomplished by spinners Bishan Singh Bedi and Erapalli Prasanna against Australia in Delhi in 1969.
