PM Modi likely to inaugurate redeveloped Andal station on 22 May

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to virtually inaugurate Andal Railway Station under the Indian Railways' Amrit Bharat Station Scheme on 22 May, according to railway sources.
In preparation, a high-level railway team is scheduled to visit the station tomorrow.
In line with the Prime Minister's vision, Panagarh Railway Station—located in the garrison town of Panagarh under Eastern Railway's Asansol Division—has undergone significant redevelopment under the same scheme, with a focus on enhancing passenger facilities and services.
The modernisation project is nearing completion, with most of the work already finished and remaining tasks progressing swiftly. This redevelopment is set to significantly improve the passenger experience, offering modern infrastructure, improved accessibility, and upgraded amenities, making Panagarh a more efficient and passenger-friendly hub, an official stated.
