Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday, while lashing out at Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh for its reported claims that more than 15,000 encounters were carried out to contain crime in the state, alleged that the claims are meant to provide a cover to illegal activities.
Addressing a press conference hereon Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav said: “Such statements are issued just to create terror in the society and to cover up the illegal activities of the government and corruption.”
