WBBSE declared the Madhyamik 2025 results within 70 days, with Adrita Sarkar from Raiganj Coronation High School securing the first rank
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) on Friday announced the Madhyamik 2025 results within 70 days of the exams, registering a pass percentage of 86.56 per cent. Board president Ramanuj Gangopadhyay officially declared the results at 9 a.m., with mark sheets and certificates distributed across 49 camp offices from 10 a.m. onwards.
For yet another year, districts outshone Kolkata in academic performance. East Midnapore secured the highest pass percentage at 96.46 per cent, followed by Kalimpong, Kolkata, and West Midnapore. A total of 66 students made it to the top 10 merit list. Girls outperformed boys once again in the overall pass rate. A total of 9,13,883 students appeared for the exam this year. Among them, 10,659 students secured the highest AA grade, 25,820 students received A+, and 91,237 students were awarded A grade.
