To strengthen security, more CISF personnel deployed at NSCBI airport

In the wake of Delhi recent blast, security at Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport has been further tightened, with the Airports Authority of India deploying an additional contingent of CISF personnel.

From Friday, 69 CISF jawans have been inducted, raising the total strength of the force at the airport to 2,102. Airport officials indicated that another 100 personnel are expected to join the security grid in the coming days. The heightened deployment follows the recent explosion in Delhi, prompting a comprehensive review of security protocols at major airports across the country.
