Big relief to CM Siddaramaiah in MUDA case: Karnataka HC quashes ED summons

On a day he presented his 16th budget, Karnataka Chief Minister S Siddaramaiah received some good news from the courts - with Karnataka High Court dismissing Enforcement Directorate summons to his wife and another minister in the alleged MUDA scam.
Coming after a clean chit in the case from the Lokayukta to him, and his wife, the Karnataka High Court setting aside the summons of the ED to Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathi, and Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh in the MUDA case is a big relief not only to him personally but also to the Karnataka government as there were strong attempts to destabilise the government under the ruse of the corruption case, Congress leaders said.
