Parents allege anti-rabies vaccine was prescribed by doctor for high fever

A serious allegation has been brought by the parents of a four-year-old child against the paediatrics specialist at Bonai sub-divisional hospital.
The parents have alleged that the said doctor had given anti-rabies vaccine to their kid who was suffering from high fever.
According to information, the parents of the four-year-old girl child had brought their daughter to the paediatrics specialist. After examining the patient, the doctor wrote in the prescription for pre-exposure prophylaxis vaccine for the kid. The pharmacist at the medicine counter incidentally asked them, 'whether the child was bitten by a dog,' and the parents declined. Then they enquired and came back to the doctor.
