CM Emphasizes on Tribal-Centric Development for 'Viksit Odisha by 2036'

As part of the State Government's one-year anniversary celebrations, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday inaugurated the Adivasi Shakti Samavesh, a state-level tribal empowerment conclave held here and said empowering tribals holds key to the development of Odisha.
The event, conducted under the banner of the district-level Vikas Utsav, brought together diverse tribal communities from across Odisha in a powerful cultural and developmental showcase.
The meeting was the third in the series—first it was Mahila Shakti Samavesh at Cuttack followed by a farmers' conclave at Bolangir on Tuesday and today it was Adivasi Shakti Samavesh. The CM is likely to conclude the series with a youth samavesh.
Addressing a large gathering, CM Majhi reaffirmed his government's commitment to inclusive governance, with a focus on the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC), who together form nearly 40% of Odisha's population.
