Unathi Nkayi hints at her return to South African radio

FORMER Metro FM and Kaya959 radio host Unathi Nkayi has shared an Instagram post that has a caption that hints she is returning to the South African airwaves.
Nkayi shared a video on Instagram, where she was walking into a building, strolling the studio and her caption teased her return to radio.
“Walking back into radio like DIS nie Iweki and I know sesi,” she wrote.
Radio shuffle season is in full effect in Mzansi, with new line-ups being announced and resignation letters being shared.
Nkayi was last on the airwaves in 2021, when she co-hosted the All Star Drive alongside Justin Toweel on Star 91.9FM.
Before then, Nkayi was fired from Kaya959 after a highly publicised dispute with fellow talk show Sizwe Dhlomo and station manager Sibongile Mtyali.
