Swift EMS response contains fire at Standard Bank

EMERGENCY services were dispatched to a Standard Bank branch in Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort, on Tuesday morning following reports of a fire at about 09:10.
City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) said firefighters were sent to the bank, located at the corner of Ellis and Carnation streets, where evacuation and firefighting operations were immediately initiated.
