Quick-thinking employee traps would-be robbers in shop

AN ALERT shop worker's split-second decision has turned an attempted robbery into a viral moment - and sparked a flood of praise for their calm courage.
CCTV footage, believed to be from a store in Cape Town, shows four armed suspects storming in and helping themselves to snacks while the staff appear to comply with their demands.
According to Daily Voice, when the suspects were distracted, a savvy employee snuck outside and quietly locked the security gate - trapping the robbers inside without a fight.
