Pirates shift focus to CAF Champions League

ORLANDO Pirates' CAF Champions League campaign was ended in heartbreak last season, and as they embark on another journey in Africa's premier club competition, the pressure will immediately return with the mission to improve on last year's semifinal exit.
The Buccaneers will take on Lesotho Premier League side Lioli FC at the Free State Stadium on Saturday (3pm kickoff).
The club has undergone a wholesale of changes, but those adjustments have not altered their ambitions - not only to be the best in South Africa but also to make their mark across the continent.
The responsibility will now fall squarely on coach Abdeslam Ouaddou to guide the team effectively.
With their midweek clash against Magesi FC postponed, the Buccaneers will arrive for Saturday's match in improved shape, having enjoyed a full week of rest since their 3-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 final.
