Hospice urging runners to sign up for 10k challenge

RUNNERS are being urged to post a personal best - at a race being staged to raise funds for one of North Staffordshire’s best-loved charities.

Dougie Mac’s 10k is returning for 2026 and the chipped run, on May 15, is at Trentham Gardens.

The event is aimed at experienced runners looking for a challenge against the backdrop of some of the most picturesque scenery in the area.

And organisers are promising plenty of twists, turns and hills to put their fitness to the test.
