Construction boss's 10k run nets £6,500 to help needy families sleep easier
MORE than 30 needy families are to receive a new bed kit thanks to a businessman's support for a charity campaign.
Mark Holland, managing director of Talke-based Holland Construction, has raised £6,500 by taking part in the Saucony London 10K.
The 60-year-old had never ran the distance before, but decided to raise funds for Emmaus North Staffordshire's Beds for Kids campaign, following a meeting with its executive lead John Webbe this year.
