Boutique expands into shop next door

A BESPOKE clothing boutique has expanded into a hub for the community after its popularity blossomed.

Sam Parker founded The Blossom Closet in August and has now made the shop into a place for people to stop by and chat.

Before opening the permanent store inside Longton Victorian Market, Sam would have popup events which bloomed in popularity. At the time, she was a full-time mum-of-three with a 'passion for fashion and people' and has now knocked the wall through to the vacant shop next door due to its success.

The 45-year-old picks out the boutique clothing herself, and says women in the city have been thrilled at the chance to buy beautiful clothes without an expensive price-tag. Many of her customers would drop in for a chat - some of whom would stay for hours - so Sam decided to put in a sofa so people can get a coffee and cake from other vendors and enjoy a sit-down in The Blossom Closet.
