MARK Robins is positive about the potential of Emre Tezgel and Nathan Lowe after a headline-grabbing week for Stoke City's two young strikers.

Robins praise for finishing qualities of loan stars

The academy pair, both aged 20, have had to be patient for game time this season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, in League Two, and Stockport County, in League One, respectively.

But Tezgel now has eight goals and Lowe has six, with plenty more expected.

Tezgel scored a hat-trick in a 3-2 win over Grimsby Town, only his fourth league start, while Lowe got the opener in a midweek 3-0 win at Port Vale which sent Stockport top of the table.

"Brilliant," said Robins. "Emre is a really good finisher they both are, they've both really good finishers.
