Man poses 'significant risk' to the public
LITHUANIAN Audrius Zukauskas raped and attacked a vulnerable woman after forcing himself on her in his home.
The 55-year-old met the stranger at Hanley Bus Station on August 16.
He invited her home and within minutes of arriving, he became sexually aggressive, forcibly removed her clothes, pinned her down and raped her. The terrified woman told him to stop and get off her but he held her down causing bruises to her arms.
He then repeatedly struck her to her head and face.
Prosecutor Andrew Baker said: "She was physically overpowered, pinned down, and restrained while the defendant continued to rape her.
