City primary school is first winner of centenary summer challenge

STOKE-ON-TRENT'S best young readers have been celebrated with an award recognising their success in this year's Summer Reading Challenge.

The Centenary Schools' Summer Reading Challenge Championship Shield has been awarded to the school with the highest percentage of students completing the Summer Reading Challenge at their local library.

The Summer Reading Challenge is developed by The Reading Agency and delivered through public libraries across the country.
