Mourners wear blue for Aaron's send-off

- Yasmin Sarwar

'My dad lit up every room'

FAMILY and friends dressed in blue as a horse-drawn carriage carried a dad-of-four to his funeral.

Mourners paid their respects to 'larger-than-life' Aaron 'Azza' Lee Wareham at Carmountside Crematorium.

The chapel was so full that some mourners had to stand outside.

The 38-year-old, of Chell, died of cancer last month, but not before he married long-term partner Danielle in a ceremony at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

When she asked what he'd like for his funeral, the ex-squaddie once replied he didn't mind 'as long as it's not sad and boring'.
