Lights in street ‘should go by Christmas’
The Sentinel
|December 11, 2025
TEMPORARY traffic lights have appeared in a Stoke-on-Trent street - amid fears of further gas leaks.
-
The roadworks, in Sneyd Street, Sneyd Green, right, are expected to be completed by December 22.
It follows a gas leak this year that affected nine homes in the street between Granville Avenue and Kingswinford Place.
Ward councillor Laura Carter said a temporary repair was carried out owing to ongoing roadworks nearby.
